Celladora Wines

Shooting portfolio work has been one of the most difficult practices for me.

After years of balancing both weddings and commercial work, at the end of 2021, I found myself burnt out. I knew that to fall in love with photography again, I needed to choose to pick up my camera and shoot what I wanted to shoot.

So it became a goal of mine in 2022 to shoot what I loved!

When Ben and I lived in Burlington, Vermont, we found an amazing Natural Wine shop in Burlington, Deadalus Wine and Food and fell in love with natural wine!

More than the wine, we found an interesting community by asking questions about wine, getting curious about the story behind the grape and hearing about what brought the person selling us the wine to the store!

It's been amazing to pay attention to how our palate has changed just through getting curious!

SO, when a natural wine shop opened up in our new neighborhood here in Richmond, Virginia, I knew I wanted to add it to the portfolio. Megan was so kind to let me come by, shoot, ask all the questions and get creative.

I love how these turned out! Let me know what you think!!
